School-Based Health Alliance School-Based Health Care Request for Applications (RFA) in Alaska

Key Information

The national School-Based Health Alliance (SBHA), in collaboration with the Alaska Department of Health, seeks applications to provide coordinated, culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate, school-based health care in Alaska, that may include primary care, mental/behavioral health, outreach, equipment, telehealth, mobile unit, dental health care, and health promotion/education/wellness.

In addition, one award will be granted to a group committed to working on state-level school-based health care infrastructure, including the affiliation of SBHA, with the aim to equip the group to offer technical assistance independently related to school-based health care. Pursuing the sole grant award for state-level infrastructure development, the applicant must align with SBHA’s mission.

This mission centers on improving the health and well-being of children and youth by advocating for school-based health care and actively seeking to become an official state affiliate. SBHA, in turn, commits to collaborating closely with the emerging state affiliate, providing essential technical assistance to facilitate the attainment of official state affiliation. This partnership underscores the dedication to advancing the cause of school-based health care and fostering the growth of state-level infrastructure.

Throughout the duration of the application cycle, this site will serve as a hub for interested applicants to access application links and attachments needed to complete the request for application (RFA).
