Addressing Food Insecurity in School-Aged Children

Focused on strategies to improve dietary health outcomes and preventive care to address food security for school-aged children. This webinar was designed for health center and health center look-alike staff. The webinar aims to increase the audience’s knowledge of and capacity to define food insecurity and how it presents in youth and families, describe programs and resources that can mitigate food insecurity for youth and families, and gain awareness of promising practice models for addressing food insecurity for youth and families in School-Based Health settings.
