
Reem Aly, JD, MHA
Reem Aly has served as the Executive Director of the Ohio-School Based Health Alliance (Ohio Alliance) since August of 2022. As the organization’s first-ever, full-time Executive Director, Reem is responsible for driving the growth and sustainability of the statewide organization and advancing high-quality, school-based health care models to support the health and success of Ohio’s children, families, schools, and communities. Reem has led numerous statewide, multi-sector initiatives focused on maternal and child health, bridging health care and population health, and health equity. Previously, Reem was Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Groundwork Ohio, and spent a decade as Vice President of Policy at the Health Policy Institute of Ohio. Her other roles include work with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Bricker & Eckler, LLC, and OCLC. She has also served on various boards and committees, including the Ohio Domestic Violence Network Board, the Executive Advisory Committee for the Ohio Alliance for Innovation in Population Health, and the Ohio Commission on Minority Health Medical Expert Panel. Reem holds a JD and MHA, as well as a BS in Psychology and a BA in International Relations, all from The Ohio State University.
