Session description: In this panel discussion, speakers will explain the rationale for expanding the SBIRT model beyond substance use. They will discuss how context (developmental, cultural, and sociopolitical) can influence adolescent SBIRT and implications for health equity. Panelists will describe upstream interventions for adolescent health and discuss how they can support youth in functional ways.
