We’re seeking stories, strategies, tools, and approaches that highlight what is working well for you and your team, as well as innovative approaches to challenges you’ve encountered along the way. Whether it’s a new workflow, a lesson learned, or a creative approach others can learn from, we are seeking to spotlight your work across SBHA national webinars, communities of practice, the Digest, and other opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
- High Quality Practice (e.g., primary care including well-care visits, immunizations, BMI assessment with nutrition and physical activity, and diabetes prevention; behavioral health; specialty care; health-related needs practices; quality improvement processes; effective data collection and extraction)
- Sound Business Practices (e.g., staffing and workforce, billing and reimbursement, and operational processes)
- Strong Partnerships (e.g., collaborations with school staff and leaders, other local healthcare providers, students, caregivers, and community organizations)
Current Focus Areas of Interest:
- BMI screening, healthy lifestyle promotion, and diabetes prevention/management
- Care for housing-insecure students and families
- Mobile health models
- Vision care and eye health
