  8. Known as MoLAA, the Museum of Latin American Art showcases paintings, lithographs, and sculptures, and also offers shows, classes, wine tastings, an open-air market gift shop and a restaurant.
  9. Take the Catalina Express to Catalina Island, located 22 miles off the coast of Southern California. Visit the picturesque town of Avalon or the rustic village, campgrounds, and beautiful beaches of Two Harbors.
