Over the past 25 years, I have contributed to multi-site, multi-method evaluations and research studies focused on understanding the impact of health programs and services on children’s physical and mental health outcomes. I have collaborated with SBHA for much of my career, supporting the implementation of research and evaluation projects, including the Hallways to Health Initiative, the SBIRT-in-SBHCs Program, the National Census of School-Based Health Care Programs and the National Quality Initiative. With our School Health Services Research Team at the University of California, San Francisco, I currently contribute to multiple studies throughout California that examine the reach and impacts of school health programs. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, I am committed to ensuring that our findings are translated into programs and policies that help improve the lives of students and school communities.

I earned a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French from the University of Michigan. I also served as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Norway, and a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea, West Africa. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family, doing yoga, or working in our garden.
