I started with SBHA in 2015 as a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) member, advancing to YAC leader and then Youth Development Intern. As a Program Associate, I focus on SBHA’s Youth Development work, including, but not limited to, leading our Youth Advisory Council and our annual ‘Be the Change’ Youth Training Program. I also work with the Youth Safety Net Project, supporting various technical assistance, training, and continuing education efforts for school and community-based health centers. In addition, I love working with young people and making sure that they are always seated at the decision-making table.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Southern Adventist University in 2019. I work remotely for SBHA, which allows me the flexibility of moving around the country with my husband and getting to know new places! During my free time, I enjoy trying new recipes, planning outdoor get-togethers, and spending quality time with my family.
