Jordi Alftine is a senior in high school. She attends North Medford High which is located insouthern Oregon. She enjoys playing soccer as well as advocating for youth rights. Jordi was apart of the Oregon health advocacy program before getting the opportunity to become a part of a national advocacy program. She plays a big role in her school’s student government as the Vice President. She also founded the Red Cross club at her local high school and organizes community blood drives. Additionally, she’s been a big part of organizing her community walk for Alzheimer’s every year. Throughout her advocacy, she has discovered that her dream is to become a doctor and make the world a better place. She aspires to use her degree in medicineto help disadvantaged groups to have equal access to knowledge and healthcare.
