Brooklyn Waller is a fourth year member of the Youth Advisory Council. She is a junior nursing major at the University of Arkansas. Brooklyn is highly involved with student leadership organizations on campus and philanthropic efforts in her community. She earned the opportunity to observe orthopedic surgery through the Perry Outreach Program, as well as hands-on lab experience using bone saws and power drills to repair ACL fractures on artiﬁcial bones. Brooklyn obtained her CPR certiﬁcation and has gained vast knowledge through classes, cadaver labs, and athletic observations. She is a founding member of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club at Bryant High School. Brooklyn is enthusiastic about helping others, and she is willing to serve in any capacity to enrich the overall health of both her campus and community, focusing especially on childhood and youth related programs.
