Brooklyn Waller

Brooklyn Waller is a third year member of the Youth Advisory Council. She is a sophomore nursing major at the University of Arkansas. Brooklyn is highly involved with student leadership organizations on campus and philanthropic efforts in her community. Brooklyn is considering a future in the medical or health services field. She earned the opportunity to observe orthopedic surgery through the Perry Outreach Program, as well as, hands-on lab experience using bone saws and power drills to repair ACL fractures on artificial bones. Brooklyn obtained her CPR certification and has gained vast knowledge through classes, cadaver labs, and athletic observations. She is a founding member of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club at Bryant High School, and has volunteered her time to assist with physicals for more than 1,300 student athletes. Brooklyn is enthusiastic of helping others, and she is willing to serve in any capacity to enrich the overall health of those in both her school and community, focusing especially on childhood and youth related programs.
