The School-Based Health Alliance represents those who support, receive, and provide health care to more than 2,300 schools and school-connected programs across the nation.
We advocate for national and state policies, programs, and funding that sustain, grow, and integrate school-based health care into our nation’s health care and education systems to promote greater academic success.
We provide leadership, resources, and technical assistance to enable school-based health centers to deliver high quality services, become financially stable, and play an active role in public policy.
Our community is comprised of school nurses and nurse practitioners; health educators; principals and school board members; adolescent, pediatric, and family physicians; social workers and psychologists; mental and oral health professionals; community, migrant, and rural health centers; state adolescent health coordinators; researchers and evaluators; hospitals and foundations; federal, state, and local public health agencies; families; and community advocates just like you!
