Background: Through the generous funding of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the Alliance is launching a new learning collaborative called Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment-in-School-Based Health Centers (SBIRT-in-SBHCs) to continue supporting SBHCs across the nation in preventing, identifying, and reducing substance use and depression in middle and high school-age youth. This project addresses several key topical areas for technical assistance requests from the field: depression, substance use, youth engagement in health care, and restorative justice/alternatives to discipline.
