Get Ready for Advocacy Day 2016

  • Suzanne Mackey, MPH, Senior Policy Analyst, School-Based Health Alliance

The 2016 National School-Based Health Care Convention will be in Washington, DC this year. On Tuesday, June 28, we invite you to participate in Advocacy Day and join your SBHC colleagues from across the country on Capitol Hill to educate members of Congress on school-based health centers. Advocacy Day is an incredible opportunity for you to connect with your policymakers and share with them the amazing work SBHCs are doing in your community.

Whether you are a seasoned SBHC advocate or a first-timer, this webinar will help prepare you for Advocacy Day by providing basic Hill visit training, and an overview of key federal policy priorities.
