Congressional Champions’ Messages to 2019 Convention Attendees

The 2019 Advocacy Day was one for the record books, with an astounding 800 convention attendees holding over 200 meetings on the Hill.

School-based health care advocates stormed the Capitol to advocate for the School-Based Health Centers Reauthorization Act of 2019 (H.R.2075/S.1013). Before advocates headed to the Hill, they heard from four of the bill’s original sponsors in an energizing pep rally.

Here’s what our Congressional champions had to say:

Representative John Sarbanes (D-MD)

Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY)

Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI)

Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)

Thanks to all of you who participated in this year’s Advocacy Day. We’ll see you again for our next one in 2022!
