The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is Accepting Applications for its $25,000 Culture of Health Prize

Rwjf-logoThe Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is accepting applications for its 2016 Culture of Health Prize. This prize recognizes and honors communities that are taking action to promote better health. The ten winning communities will receive a $25,000 cash prize and have their stories shared by RWJF. Applications are due on November 12, 2015.

In 2015, RWJF released its Culture of Health Action Framework—a collection of four interrelated Action Areas to focus efforts around improving population health and motivating cultural change. They have identified school-based health centers (SBHCs) as a delivery model that can improve access to health care and promote better health outcomes among children and adolescents.

This is a great opportunity for the school-based health care field to tell our story about how we are leveraging partnerships between health providers and educators to improve the wellbeing and success of children and adolescents.
