During the month of August, the School-Based Health Alliance is accepting stories, high resolution photos, and videos that showcase different aspects of school-based health centers (SBHCs). We’ve already received lots of submissions, but we want to hear from everyone! All submissions will enter a raffle to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Each submission should be linked to one of our core competencies. Our most recent back-to-school story comes from Russell Springs, Kentucky:
Share Your Story!School-based health center (SBHC) staff from Healthy Kids Clinic in Kentucky are preparing for the new school year! The Healthy Kids Clinic team attended more than thirty open houses this summer at schools across six counties in Kentucky to introduce its staff and services. The Clinic is currently in its second year and serves six school districts, encompassing 26 schools.
Students, parents, and teachers were excited meet the team and learn about the extraordinary benefits of their new SBHC. Healthy Kids Clinic is excited about these partnerships to keep their students healthy, ready to learn, and achieving at their highest level!
