Compare Your Data Nationally

School-based health care (SBHC) programs or sponsoring organization representatives will share data with the School-Based Health Alliance through an online portal. To make reporting the measures as efficient as possible, we have added them as a component of the 2016-17 National School-Based Health Care Census portal.

Type of Data Collected

The Alliance is requesting aggregate, de-identified client data to calculate standardized performance measures, as described in detail here. No individually identifiable student information will be requested, as described here.

Frequency of Data Collection

SBHC programs who voluntarily adopt the performance measures will have two opportunities to report data for the 2016-17 school year. We encourage SBHCs to practice extracting and reporting data to the School-Based Health Alliance in January 2017. Participating SBHC programs will be asked to report their data for the complete 2016-17 school year in the summer/fall 2017.

Submitting Data to the Alliance

All data will be reported to the School-Based Health Alliance online. To make reporting the measures as efficient as possible, we have added them as a component of the 2016-17 National School-Based Health Care Census portal. You must be logged in using your email address to access the site.

Generating Customized Reports

Contributing SBHC programs will be able to generate reports summarizing their own data and comparing data to national averages. Customized reports can be accessed through the data portal.
