What Is the Census?

WHAT IS THE NATIONAL SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CARE CENSUS?

The National School-Based Health Care Census is a survey conducted by the School-Based Health Alliance. It collects data on school-based health care program locations, staffing models, services provided, populations served, and funding sources.

The first Census was collected in 1985 and we’ve administered the survey every three years since then.
